My cute little princess!

Hi ladies (mothers..)...

My daughter is 2 year old now. She has this one behavior which I love dearly. I sometimes think is it unique of her...or many other kids have a similar behavior!!! If you find something unique with your kid, please share it here.

Normally we teach our daughter to be friendly to people, share things, etc. Whenever we have guests like my bil's kid or the neighbor kids at home, we tell her to share her toys, etc. She does share it sometimes and doesn't at times. After all the guests leave, she comes back to me and asks 'Amma...are they(guests) leaving because I didn't share my toys?'
I find this self retrospection of hers very cute. Ofcourse I give her an honest reply whether she did share or not, and at the same time explain her why the guests would be leaving.
Its not only about guests or so...she mostly revisits her actions...if I show a little bit anger and stop talking to her for a minute...she runs to me and asks...'did I hurt you and is that why you are not speaking?'

I just feel good about her this behavior and wanted to share with IL. Please pour in your experiences on such cute little things about your prince/princess

That was so cute of your daughter .My daughter is 3.5 yrs she might not always share her toys with others but the lovely thing i love in her is her honesty.She never lies to me .If she did something wrong also she will come to me and tells about the whole thing .She also cannot see me either crying or angry with her .She immediately says sorry mama and asks me not to be like that .I many times feel we need to learn lot of things from our kids .There honesty and truthfulness makes them equal to god .

my baby boy is 16 months old. What i find really cute about him is that when he is eating he will give me a bite in my mouth. also when we are going out he brings me my shoes. he helps me clear the dishes sometimes also. He is really cute at times. When i shout at him he coming to me for comfort then i feel so bad that i scolded him. I wish we could still be so cute and innocent.

That's really a nice quality of your daughter, Mitra. Very true, there's lots to learn from them. These kids seem to enjoy such little things...and they giggle away to glory...that makes me really happy and look out for small things and be happy too.

Hey Priyu...feels really good...isn't it? When the kids feed us with their little hands with so much affection? I just feel heavenly then. As she is growing, I keep feeling I would miss these moments soon...so I just stick to her as much as possible after I go home from work :)

Hello guys!

Great thread. Just wanted to share some cute things that my 3 year old daughter does

- whenever there is some dirt or paper lying on the floor, she rushes to get the broom and sweeps the floor ,scattering the dust all over the room and gives me a proud wide grin!

- Once some Washing machine service guy had called up, she picked up the phone and spoke for 10 whole minutes and the guy was promply answering all her CBI questions-" who are you, what is ur name, why do u want to talk to mamma!!!!"

- Whenever i make chappatis, she comes running into the kitchen and helps me roll the chappati balls and popps one or two in her mouth!

I think watching the kids grow itself is the most gifted thing God has bestowed upon us!

Keep this thread alive! Its thoroughly enjoyable...

Its so wonderful to see so many lovely princes and princesses in our family of IL.
These amazing kiddos contribute so much towards our happiness without even trying to. Its blissful to be with them.
Well my daughter Neiv accompanies me to office and while I am busy with a client , she dons the mantle of being the interviewer and conducts interviews of the others present as in "What your name?,Tell me something about yourself." sometimes the candidates just cant stop grinning . The reason is that Neiv is merely 5 years old!

Good to read this thread and waiting to know some more facts about our amazing babies!

As much I hear from you all, I can relate to them so much.
Yes my daughter does roll chapathis for me too! But after her rolling, only dustbin can hold it. I'm glad that she promptly throws in the dustbin after she has played enough with the chapathi dough. And she does the broomstick thing too.
Everyday just before I leave to office, she would check if I have taken the mobile or not, with a flying kiss

my cute little princess is mythri n is 2 1/2 yrs old.
to tell abt her she is very swt in her behaviour.
when her close little frnd whi is around 1 yr elder comes to play with her she readily shares her toys n when her frnd starts crying for 1 or other reason she goes to her hugs n kisses her n then tells her softly not 2 cry as mama doesnt feel gd.

sometimes when v r ready for outing she hurriedly gathers her toys n helps me clear the room.thtis really swt of her.
ofcourse she to loves helping me with chappathis n cleaning work.
she just imitates me when iam working on my laptop n then picks up hers n continues
its really so nice to c them growing up.

Wow, wont any Mom would like to talk about their babies??

My daughter Gaayathri is 19 months old and is making me slim and chic, you know how

She is a very good observer. She does all that a poojari does at the temple and never forgets to bless us and give us prashad. She puts flowers, shows aarti, chants 'mana nama...' (her mantras, which the Gods would understand I think) and gives vibudhi, kumkum, and keeps it on our forehead too. The way she says 'shammee' and 'oum' will bring the Gods themselves down onto The Earth. Whenever she gets uncontrollable, she will calm down if she sees a God's picture or listens to bhajans.

Talking about music, she does the 'thalam' for carnatic music on her thighs and claps for light music. Dunno how she differentiates, but she does! She has her own dance steps for each type of music.

Loves to dress up and never fails to check on the mirror and show her new dress to all at home.

Places things in its place when asked to do so. Helps mom!

Loves to see her photos on the computer and says 'bebee' showing her tiny teeth. If she sees any baby's photos she says that as if she is an old woman!

Most important of all, has clean potty habits.

She is a sweet little dolly making life interesting for me everyday.
