Hello All,
This is a wonderful thread for all the cute little princesses around the world.
The cutest thing of my daughter Aastha, 2.5 yrs is her laughter and giggles. She makes sure I laugh too. Whenever I am sitting idle with her, she starts tickling me and both of us burst out laughing.
Other than this, she does the broomstick thing and the chapatti dough thing too, she does her prayers with half closed eyes (thats too cute) and says Om Namah Shivaya!.
She is a very keen observer. Anything is lying aroung, like my purse or anything, she says she wants to see it, She will open it, do a complete Investigation that will make the CIA run in shame! and then give my purse back to me intact, without removing anything from it. Thats great because she know she cant take any of my stuff.
Just hoping these good attributes continue with them in the future too

Hema: I just cant believe that your 2 yr old can talk so much. When did she start talking, her sense of analysis and reasoning is also great. Not many kids that age talk like that. You must be so proud of her.

Good going! It really feels good listening to baby stuff! Raji...that's nice of your kid to help you out. Poornima...your daughter seems to be very smart with music and devotion. Teju..such nice habits your daughter has got.
My daughter started speaking when she was about 1.5 year old...and these full sentences are happening from past 2-3 months. In fact, my mil always says that I should keep taking drishti out of my daughter for the way she speaks..!

Thumbs down Re: My cute little princess!

Hi Hemchi,

Yeah, she is very devotinal for her age! Hope God Almighty will keep her happy and healthy all through her life. And so does He for the little angels around here. Each one is a darling in their own way.

My little one is quite smart too. When she was crawling around, if we held her in our hands, she would throw the toy in her and would leap to fetch it, so we would put her down and she can carwlllll away from us!

Now, she has gone to the next extent...making me crawl! How u wonder? Well, she hides her toys under the sofa or table and makes me to get it for her, when I bend down on my fours to get it, she will immediately jump on my back. This way she checks her Mom doesnt grow a pot belly!

Keep writing about your sweet ones, love to read it all.

Cheers
Poornima

That's sooo cute of your daughter Poornima.
Aa..haa...Now I remember what my daughter used to do while she was in 'crawl' phase. She used to love to sit under chairs, tables..etc. She used to sit under the chairs for as long as half an hour...wonder what comfort she used to find there...!!!

Regards,
-Hema

My kid is 2.5 years old and is fun to watch.
One lousy afternoon, I finished my lunch and was very slowly washing my hands.
He was also feeling very sleepy. I was thinking that next will be put him to sleep, get ready for his 'flu shot' visit. I never realised that this calm was before a storm.

I had left everything on the table and came back to see his full hand dipped into the curd container.
I immedately took that and the water glass that was there and in a second turned back to see, he had put a small truck into the pickle bottle.
He told me, see, truck is drinking pickle. PICKLISH truck.

I ran and snatched that from his hand and he wiped his hands on his shirt. I took him and washed him & removed his shirt, wiped him. I was happy that I handled the situation before he put his hand into his eyes.
I was taking a shirt for him, came back to see, Salt. oh God, I forgot the salt, salt, salt everywhere. he just poured the entire salt onto the sofa and when I was trying to keep a calm face, told me,

I want to cook. but, how can i cook? I dont have salt.

Smile Re: My cute little princess!

Hi Hema,

This is a very interesting thread that U have started. This made me think which qualities of my daughter do I really like and luv.

I have 2 toddlers a 4.5 yr.old daughter and a 2.5 yr.old son. My daughter is soo sweet and cute that she is ready to share her toys with visitors and it so happens that she would give her toys to our visitors and those girls end up claiming it to be theirs and do not want to share with my daughter, then, she would just come to me upset and when I tell her they would anyway leave in sometime and then the toy is all urs she would understand and agreewith me. Same is the case with her younger bro.also. He claims all her toys to be his including her dora dolls and pink purses and most of the times she gives up for him and says its o.k.,else he would fight with me, in very rare cases she really gets pissed off. Another quality of my lil princesses is that she does'nt forget people and is so affectionate and keeps remembering every one and this has made her a favourite of many of our friends. She is very happy when my husband tells her that Mom used to cry for U before U were born and use to pray to Hanumanji to bless her with U. The happiness I see on her face at that moment is what I cannot explain in words.

Thanks for writing into this thread...ss.mmm and Vijaya.
ss.mmm -> Your son keeps you handfull Sometimes these kids get real naughty and the worst part is we dont/can't get angry for that!!!
Vijaya -> your children must be making you feel satisfied.
I just love kids...and feel happy when I hear about all your kids.
Devika - thanks for that meaning. I remember there used to be a serial on Doordarshan decades back with the title as Neiv. So, wanted to confirm if it meant the same too!

Love to all the kids,
Hema
