Default Worried About My Daughter

Hi Friends,

I need quick response as iam really worried abt my daughter .
My Daughter who is 3.5 years old is completely toilet trained but from last one week she is not responding to pee and wetting her pants .she is also complaining abt vaginal itiching & light rash .Yesterday i have seen doctor she took her urine sample and she didnot call me back which means everything is alright .

But to my surprise today morning i noticed light bleeding in her urine and she is also not feeling comforatable while peeing .Iam really very much worried and not understanding what to do .

I will be glad to see some suggestions .She is very little and could not express her problem and iam coming across something like first time .

Thanks & Regards
Mitra

Pls go for a second opinion. This type of itching and blood in urine needs to be attended immediatly.

Mitra,
I second rajmi.....go for another doctor...
Call the 1st doctor and ask for the results and explain the situation now....
It might be infection or so...consult a doctor immediately and do the same....
Hope your daughter get well from this....soon...

Dear Mitra,

I'm of the same opinion as to Rajmi and Sri. Better to find an earlier appointment with another doctor. Try to call the old doctor and discuss this, too, as they know the history. Sometimes the reports bocome unreliable. Once a relative of mine who was then in her fifties bleeded in her urine. She was OK within a couple of days after some antibiotics.

Don't worry but try to take her to the doctor asap as she is too small to explain what is happening to her.

Hi friends,

SOrry for the delayed response. But iam glad that you all responsded quickly .As you all suggested i have seen a diff,Doc and she did take some urine culture test and found nothing serious .She was saying it might be because of scratching and doing all funny things in that area as kids of this age keep palying with there private parts .

she has given prescription with Amoxicilin ,I have started on that let me see how it goes.

Again i thank you all for your response .

Regards,
Mitra

Dear Mitra
Sometimes this happens for some girl kids. Nice to know that the doc said it is not anything serious. but when something like this again happens you can give her barley water to drink. We get barley in the stores take a few seed and boil it nicely and give it to ur daughter. It is very helpful as one of my cousin's daugher had this problem she was only 2 yrs old.
Some kids need to drink lot of water might be even ur daughter needs to drink more water this will also help. And about the barley water it is good for all the ages.
Along with the prescription you can give her this too just 1/2 a cup 3 times,
