Hi,

Olive oil lightens the skin colour.

I have been using it for massaging my lil one rt from the time she was born till now. Presently she is 3 yrs old .So now I give her oil massage weekly.

Hi,
I also used olive oil for my baby. Its safe on baby's skin though I dont think it has any effect on the skin colour.
Cheers,

I have also been using olive oil for massages for my son .. I feel it doesnt have any making fairer or darker qualities..It just soothens the skin and makes it soft .. I live in italy whr olive oil is used extensively in food as well as cosmetic purpose (softening the skin)hope it helps..

I have read few articles where it says olive oil gives a light tan to our skin, but it is very nourishing oil and good for skin. but becos of this i apply only to hair and not to body.
if u r worried abt this color changes of skin, u can try vitamin E oil, coconut oil which will give a glow to the skin, even sesame oil which is very good for oil bath. i apply sesame oil every sat for my son from head to toe and give him a head bath and he would sleep for 3 hrs. atleast i get to relax that time lol!
