potty training in progress

I am sharing how is my LO's potty training is progressing.
It starts from morning 8.00 am or 9.00 am once I change her night time diaper
And put her on cloth underwear.
It goes fine till she takes nap in afternoon.
During nap time she is in diapers.she is 24 months now.
Once she wakes up from sleep I am tired
to put her on cloth underwear.I will improve on this with practice.
I have to clean carpet,baby every hour till her afternoon nap.

When my baby is outside of home what are the things
I require to avoid diapers?like traveler potty seat or a potty ring?
How to take care of it.

She is not still while diaper change.very naughty
I think it's time for pull ups.please suggest me good comfortable pull ups

Yaaaay !!!!!!!!!!! good luck to mom and baby...

so finally started. how do you manage to clean carpets. am scared to leave my son without diapers because pee atleast we can clean but pooooooo?????????? yes you can try pull ups now. higgies ones are good. even i want to try because its been almost 2 years and still putting a diaper on is like challenge. and on top of that by the time go and grab his shorts he pull the diapers off good luck surekha. even i will start once he is 2. two more months to go.

I just spray deodorizing carpet sprayer(from dollar tree store)and do spot cleaning with vaccum immediately.she is not feeling wetness even though she went to pee pee.
I know the time when she goes for poo poo.it's right after her breakfast

Hello everyone,

Was looking for a thread on potty training. My 2 yr old daughter is also not potty trained, i am trying since 6 months. I also take her to the bathroom every 1-2 hrs for pee, but she doesnt tell on her own when she wants to go. Also she doesnt like to go to the bathroom at all. In the beginning, when i stopped her formula milk at 1 n half yrs, she would cry and wail on going to the bathroom for pee. Now also she will grumble everytime i want her to pee in bathroom. But till date, she doesnt tell when she wants to go for pee or poo. I put on her diapers only at night. During the day, she is in cloth knickers.

I guess next month when she starts going to playschool, she may learn from other children around her.

Just avoid long outings while still in training, at least the first two weeks. It helps making a chart with the hours and each time a diaper is wet to check the hour when wetted. Do this a few days and you will most likely see a pattern. Just avoid going out at the toilet times. Of course if you have car you can bring a traveller seat or ring with. Although personaly I would tend towards the ring because floors outside are not always so clean and child might touch with hand while doing buisness. Just wipe seat off with sanitary disinfectant and put in plastic bag when done and bring back to car and clean at home.
Otherwise i know that some places in london have actual childrens toilets, very small sized.maybe US has that too. Check in your area and if not and you forgot your seat/ring just hold the child over the toilet in order to relieve itself. Maybe want to practice this one at home as correctly holding it is important, else very very messy.:hide:

@sweetgirl I did not find children's toilet in USA.I have seen changing stations to change diapers for babies in public restrooms I will keep your tips in mind about outings,potty ring,making chart.

My child has done peeing first time in potty chair yesterday night :kiss

She got cheetos as a reward.I praised her that she is a big girl now.

hmmm Today morning She dont want to pee sitting on potty.She prefers standing up near the bed/couch.
I want to share today's morning potty training of my daughter.
I gave her half glass of water.I kept her on potty chair right after her breakfast.
I have even decreased the A\c to make the room chilly
I have given her favorite toys,played Dora the explorer show on the TV.
She knows what I am saying to do but she dont want to do on the potty.
Finally I gave up after struggling in this way for 50 minutes.I let her down after 50 minutes and went to wash my hands.
I heard a faint water running sound and turned to look at her.She has done it standing near the couch

I would need Mommies help to teach her to pee sitting on potty chair.
Till afternoon i cleaned up the baby and carpet for 4 times.She is not getting it what to do
Please help me with your suggestions.
