Birthday return gift

hello friends,
My son's third birthday is on sep 10 th. We've planned to invite his playschool friends and neibouring children. I like to give them a nice return gift. Friends pls suggest me some gifts.

when my child was one year old, we shopped for tiny little gifts like the twisting wheel, tops with ropes, chinese chekers, ludo, color pencils, pencils and rubber of different shapes, a paper cap, some sweet candys, and paper bags, with fringed in gold lace, with a tiny rope to carry, colorful ones. we also brought a big swan very big one which u get in the market, now filled some of the candies and toys and dolls and what ever like marbles, lollipops, all wrapped up and hanging it on to the ceiling next to the fan or any other hook on the ceiling.

once the party is on its way that is after cutting the cake and a good spread to eat, sandwich, samosas, fruit juices, some sweets like gulab jamun dry and a short tom and jerry film to make them laugh, and then while leaving we poke the belly of the swan from down and all sweets and toys fall down for the kiddos to pick it up, and apart from this they have a cap and a hooter, and small paper bag of gifts to take home... sunkan

Depending upon the age you can gift the kids. If there are small children I mean toddlers you can give them small squeaky toys, and for his playschool friends and other kids of his age group gift sets with a scale, pencil, eraser, sharpner comes. you could get them and present them.

Have you been to Sundar Stores in Usman Road opposite to GRT? You get lots of gift articles. I generally jump into that store whenever I need to get some return gift or gifts that need to be given for Navarathri.

Try that place infact they keep getting new new products and once you step in you will get lots of ideas.

You can give them any toys, snack box, water bottle, lots of assorted toffees. If you think that it can be things that they can use later on then go for colouring books or crayons, pencil boxes, erasers, pencils( fancy ones). Hope this will come within the budget you have in mind. My youger daughter who is in playschool Pre-KG gets such items as return gifts.

Rajmi, thanks for mentioning the shop. I've planned to go to pondy bazaar for shopping. I've visited sundar stores 3 or 4 times. I'll surely go there this time to find such gifts. Really thanks rajmi....

Advance birthday wishes to ur son.U can either give the kids a combi goodie bag like a small toy(car..),few muchies like chips and chocolates,crayons,pencil,rubber etc or u can give them a single item like frisby...or a car(big) for boys and doll for girls..or picture books,puzzles or Hope these ideas help u to choose a goodie bag.

If you are planning to have the party at home, don't forget to plan some easy games, like musical chairs, and prizes for the winners, they don't have to be expensive similar to the return gifts
also plenty of wet wipes for the inevitable spills
