Dear Purnima, speed, yes, but that is fuelled by greed. That fuel is not suited for a safe journey. And a speedy journey is not always a safe journey. I wont and cant stop this train, Purnima. But it will stop on its own in a few weeks. Will it stop in a station or only after hitting other trains, I don't know. regards, varalotti

Dear Kamla, you are right, greed and pride, precede a disaster. who is going to be pawned and to whom, well, that's a mystery as of now. thanks for the words of consolation that holiday season has brought down the numbers. thanks, but I am not bogged down by the numbers, Kamla. I just take it as a warning to improve the quality of my writing. however your message did provide solace to me, thanks. regards, sridhar

Dear Shalji, do you think I am such a heartless person to make fun of such a nice person like you. Will never do that, Shalji. you have all nice words about the episode. And the irony is that you want to make a film out of a story which condemns the filmi world. But that kind of venture is also necessary at times. Perhaps you may remember there was once a tamil movie, "Cinema Paithiyam" which spoke of the false nature of the film world. But that was very light, whereas the Price is a little too strong. No movie maker would venture to touch a subject like this. regards, sridharji

Dear Varloo, thanks for the honest opinion, that the last episode was not interesting. While this one is interesting because it is very short last one was not interesting, again because, it is very short. You can definitely expect some twists and turns -but nice twists and turns, fat chance! thanks for the warm wishes, regards, sridhar Dear Chitra, I wanted to reply to you here as Varloo has talked about the boni. If the numbers are down please don't blame it on your luck. It's due to my plain incompetence, that's all. Let me improve it next week, at least. regards, sridhar

Dear Anjana, thanks for the praise. No woman would like Reshma, agreed. But when you see the other characters of the story, Reshma would then appear like Mother Theresa to you. Let's just wait and see. thanks for the wishes. next episode may be out by thursday even. Who knows! regards, sridhar

Hello Meena, "thanks for the nice words." Somehow I seem to cling on to these words. As they say you can't teach new tricks to an old dog. Should include new words also in the proverb. Well, Meena, your prayers have been answered. This week's episode is likely to be posted by Thursday itself as I will be going to Chennai by Thursday night. All your worries and concerns are well placed. "I'm more worried for Vidya - whatever a man gets into, its the women who suffer the most, most of the time." These words ring beautifully true. I wish every husband reads these words before he takes any major decision in his life. "Thanks for the nice words." Here I go again, regards, sridhar
