| Dear Chitra, That was an enlightening post on Shiva...feels good to ręad it today on shivrathri! Since i am a vaishnavite, i have not been exposed to the shaivite culture....but due to my dancing i have always been in love with Lord Nataraja, and naturally Shiva is also very dear to my heart.....i have always loved dancing to the shiva songs! And dancing to the meanings and the philosphical meanings behind every aspect of Shiva.....and after coming here i have learnt more since i explain to my students too, and it has always fascinated me.... Thanks for such an apt post....will try to chant all thepotris maybe in the temple today!
