Wonderful pictures Pavithra. Can you pls guide as to how to go to this temple by car or bus from Bangalore . Do you have any contact info like ph no and what is the story behind this temple?

Our guru has guided my SIL family to visit this temple and perform abhisekham there. But she has been unable to do so till date. Any info u give would be really appreciated

ill let u know how to reach the temple from bangalore.

1. go to majestic bus stand, board a hassan bus.

2. get down at bellur cross.

3. pay rs 10 and get into auto and land at the temple adi chun chun giri.

4. you have many share autos dropping to pick us out....!

nice pictures of kalabhairavar. i think some festival is going on thier. hence we are native of Tamil nadu and i didnt yet go to bangalore and see such a nice dieties. its very nice to see and thanks for sharing pavi.

This place is called Adi Chun Chun giri. This temple is exclusively for Kala Bairavar. The mutt is headed by H H Bala Gangadhara Swamiji.

It is 110 km west of Bangalore.
