Mahalakshmi Mata Mandir, Mumbai

Hi,

Mahalakshmi Mata Mandir, Mumbai is a very holy place.It was built in 1785.
Many people visit the temple on Thursdays and in Navratri as well as during Diwali LAKSHMI Puja day.It is located on B. Desai Road, Breach Candy, Mumbai . One can easily reach Mahalaxmi Temple by taking local Buses, Auto-rickshaws, metro or by hiring Taxis from Mumbai .

The temple also has a scenic beauty. It is surrounded by the sea on the backside.

Since i was born and brought up in mumbai i have had the blessing of visiting the temple many a times. we i visited mumbai in 2005 my family and myself visited the temple. it is very beautiful temple and it brings lot of peace to me whenever i visit the temple

Thanks for the info on Mahalakshmi temple, indeed mumbai is a Holy place. I have been in Mumbai for majority of my life and Mahalakshmi temple is the vein of our body.

My mother is so fond of the sindoor/kumkum that they sell outside the mandir.
