Happy to see this thread, I am also a Thanjavurian. We lived in Chennai too but now I am in UK. I am missing Thanjavur a lot.

Very happy to see ye reply.
I did my schooling up to 9th std at KHSS and My father got transferred to Musiri. I finished my +2 there. Again back to Thanjavur and did my graduation at Kundavai Nachiar College for Women.
10 yrs back my father sold our house there and got settled in Chennai. I too missing Thanjavur a lot.

I am also from Thanjavur District. Still my parents living in Milattur near
Thirukarugavur. But I am settled in Chennai.

Dear Friends,

I am from a Village called Veppathur, near Kumbakonam. Though I am not from thanjavur proper, Kumbakonam is also in Thanjavur Districtand the distance is only 45 minutes drive.
