April - May. We all will go there and witness the performance with our family. Umasridharan has agreed to join.

Dear Kaluputty and Uma,

Just now I received telephonic message that the Melattur Bagavatha
mela Natakam is there on December 29, 2008 Prahaladha Charithram at Kalakshetra,Thiruvanmiyur at about 6.00 pm.
Another drama is there on December 30th, 2008 Rukmani Kalyanam at
Brahmagana Sabha at about 10.00 am.

I am priya. I am also from thanjavur. I did my UG in Kundavai Naachiyaar, PG in Avc College(mayilai) and M.phil in Tamil uni. Now we are settled in Aus. But my parents are still in tanjore.

hai uma,
my grandparents are from mannargudi, and i have been visiting my native village when ever i am in india.i have heard of the dance dramas from my parents but have never attended one.
maybe i should attend one when i am in india.
