I was born and brought up in Thiruvarur,60 km from Thanjavur,which previously in Thanjavur district now a district head quateres.I studied and lived there until my marriage.my mom still living there.

If any performance is there in Chennai I will inform you. But every year
this dance drama will take place in the month of April or May during
vacation. You can come there. Stay and Food and all no problem.

Hi all!
Don't know whether I fit in the category, but having spent almost 35 years of the best part of my life at Tanjore, ....thought .....would pitch in.Mannargudi is the native place of my in.laws.We lived in Tanjore town, and both my children had their schooling there.My son did his degree in 'poondi pushpam'.Children having been married and settled down elsewhere, we have moved back to Chennai, where. we have, all our relatives.Though this is where we were born and brought up, we miss the quite and peaceful life of Tanjore very much.But we still have our own house there, and can enjoy a vacation now and then!
