| Hi Vidya, Good to know you are a Nellai marumagal.. Food there will not be a problem.... Regarding comfort for staying..I think Hotel Aaryas will be a good option. |

| Hi Friends, Like Vidya24, I am also a Tveli daughter in law. My F-L is from Seramadevi. Even though I have not visited the place, he often talks & boosts about his place. I had just been to thiruchandur... to worship our family deity- Muruga. I liked the place very much. I believe Tveli district is supposed be fertile & a pleasant place to live in. Being closer to Kerala...I guess it has both the flavours! And Vidya Madam, I am Surprised & happy to know that you're Tveli D-L! I thought you're a 'pakka' keralite!

| Vidya, There are small lodges in the areas that you mentioned. If you decide to stay in Tirunelveli lodge, you may end up shuttling to and fro to those places. There may be lodges near Shankarankovil Gomathi Ammam temple, where you may halt and then proceed to kandayanallur and krishnapuram via puliangudi. Kallidai is very near to Alwarkurichi...it takes not more than 20 mins by road. Alternatively...since Kallidai and Alwarkurichi are nearer to Tirunelveli, you can finish that trip first. Then back to Tirunelveli and from there to Shankarankovil, kadayanallur and krishnapuram in one go. In case you are not using your personal vehicle...Standard Cabs in Tirunelveli will be a good option... One personal suggestion ....visit courtallam falls when you go to Kadayanallur.....My home is just about 2 km from the falls....There are good resorts in courtallam.Let me know if you need further clarification. More than happy to help you. Bye Quote:

| Dear friends I'm also a daughter-in-law of Tirunelveli. My father-in law hails from Naranammalpuram. Actually he and some of his friends and some people from that village formed a welfare society to help that village people. Regards Uma Last edited by Induslady; 22nd September 2008 at 04:28 PM.
