WHat do you call iCE KA GOLLA ?

Hi

As a child i Used to have ice ka golla in INDIA,

Here in US i wanted to know Do we get this ? Where will we get ?and what do they call this GOLLA in US?

Hmm no its not kulfi,its made by crushing ice and they put some colour on it and they give it as a lolly pop

Popsicle is kuchi ice - and not in ice ka golla. To those who dont know gola - it is crushed ice in a stick ( something like a granita) and flavoured - mostly with kala khatta, orange and grape essences

WOw archana thank you for giving me the information you are right i tried out popsicle but its not ice ka golla...

Granitas are served on a tall glass, and unfortunatley are flavoured with mint and not with kala khatta. If you have a ice crusher, I guess you can make golas yourself!
