| | Re: my cooking experiments cocktail samosa
u need
for the covering - maida
- salt
- pinch of soda
- water
- little oma(optional)
- rice flour a little
for the stuffing - onions finely chopped
- green chillies
- salt
- chilly powder
- curry leaves
- turmeric powder
- ginger garlic paste
- shajeera
- mint leaves(optional)
- dhaniya powder
- garam masala
- lemon juice
- cilantro
- oil for the curry and deep fry
all things should be taken in quantities adjusted to our taste procedure - first prepare the stuffing by heating the pan and adding little oil to it
- add shajeera,let it splitter
- add onions and chilly
- add curry leaves and ginger garlic paste
- when the onions become tender add turmeric powder, chilly powder, dhaniya powder and garam masala to it
- if u like mint flavour add a few leaves
- cook for other 3 min and add the lemon juice
- finally cilantro a little
- before starting curry preparation ,mix the dough and set aside
- for this mix maida, salt ,oma, soda to chapathi dough consistency
- make chapathis of this dough by dusting it in rice flour.chapathis should be very thin
- nw heat a pan and just warm the chapathis on both sides, see that u are just warming not cooking it
- now cut the chapathi into long strips
- as u fold the ribbon into triange do the same with these long strip
- after folding twice u get a pocket, fill this with the curry
- close the opening of the samosa with a wet flour mixture of maida and water
- do all the samosas and fry them
- they are crispy and tasty
- check it out and let we know the feedback

| | Re: my cooking experiments BUTTER FINGERS
u need - maida required amount
- 1/2 quantity of ghee to maida
- jaggery equal to maida
- elaichi powder
- oil for frying
- cut kaju about 2 tbsp
procedure - mix maida and ghee and a little amount of water to make the dough as chapathis one
- water acts as a binder here
- make thick chapathis of the dough by taking it in small quantities
- cut them into long strands of required length
- fry them in oil till golden brown
- now immediately put them in jaggery syrup of single strand thickness
- this is important step,so frying and syrup preparation should be done at a time
- put all the fingers in the syrup, now add elaichi and kaju pieces into them
- when u feel the fingers are coated properly with the syrup off the flame and let it dry
- now take them into a plate ,separate them
- they are yummy
 - u can make with sugar syrup also
