Dear Chitra,

I was surprised myself to see my cake recipe in Today's post llist.
hey, I'm a decent cook and being our Chitvish's student, I can say confidently that I do cook welll. yes, I do give out recipes sometimes and I think all of us do at times - we are after all the cooks of our respective nests.

If you are into baking then you must try this one - comes out spongy and nice. one of my daughter's favorite cake.

Love,

Dear Anamika,

Looks like Meena has missed seeing your post. Why do you say there is no flour..Maida is flour. It will work.
Best of luck.

Dear friends i'm sorry. I missed maida when passing the recipe to my paper note and when i came looking for the post to ask about it i was with no time so i didn't notice it. I also thought it was possible that it was a moist desert like the french clafoutis type.

Hi Rs18 here in Portugal there is a special pan that we turn on the electricity that can substitute the oven and bakes cakes very well. It is not expencive at all but i don't know if you can find it where you live so i don't know if this is of any help. If you can find it it's a good thing to buy because it is so cheap. A pressure cooker is more expensive. This week i will go to a store of house items that belongs to indian family because i must buy somethings and i will ask them abaut the indian name to this pan. If i have answer i will post.

Hi, Can u give me the recipe for butter icing, which is very soft & fluffy. I tried this by mixing butter and icing sugar but it doesn't comes out well. Sometimes it tastes like ghee, not like butter. What is the exact recipe for butter icing. Or can we use whip cream for the same purpose?

Regards,

Triza

Today i went to that store and i'm sorry to say that we canīt find that pan in India or outside Europe. So, i guess this is not the solution for making cakes without oven! Here in europe we call that pan CLOXE: but this has no meaning, it's just a name.
