Default lapsi halwa

Dear Shal.
I saw your query now. You could try lapsi halwa- Chithra's recipe. It is so tasty and easy to make and healthy also as wheat rawa is used-it has fibre content also. Try it with dry milk powder instead of unsweetened khoa. Hope this is of some help.
With warm wishes,
varloo

Default names of maida

Dear ananya,

Plain flour usually means maida only , that is the same as refined flour, all purpose flour etc. All the names belong to maida
There is another name also. In malayalam it is called american maavu.
