Default A suggestion

It would be great if we have an option to delete the posts too, because sometimes there will be some threads without any replies/suggestions or feedbacks, in such cases after waiting for a certain number of days we can delete them.

Talking Re: A suggestion

It shouldn't be that way ami.

Thought the thread remain extinct, Its always better not to delete that.

One more thing is its very hard to monitor all those kind of posts in this huge forum.

Hi Marun
Sure that is tough to monitor each and every post, so what I proposd was for each member to have a delete your thread option like an edit option. So each of us can do that rather than assigning everything as the responsibility of monitors.

In such cases we always have option to called Report.

If we were given delete option then why we need Mods, its there job so let them handle.

Amihere, I understand what you are saying. Even if the thread hasn't received any responses, we still want to have it available as an open query because someone, sometime will hit up on that thread and will respond.

Secondly, if we offer delete option, we see that people delete very useful posts of theirs for a variety of trivial reasons and that reduces the flow of the conversation and decreases the quality of the site.

Having some threads with unanswered queries isn't hurting anyone. That is why, we leave it as is with the potential for someone to answer it in future. Thanks.
