Default Option for Deleting post..

Hi if would be nice if there is an option for deleting 'new thread or reply post' by a member who created it.for eg. i posted a new thread in marriage forum but i thought for deleting it.but there was no such option except for editing it.can you get me."?you can include a delete button next to edit button, quote button.

Default Re: Option for Deleting post..

Hi Tempy,

We had this option of deleting one's own posts (if not threads, because they include others posts too other than the thread starter). But we had to take back the option, for it was found to be misused most of the time. Also, by making a post and then deleting it after sometime, the subsequent posts by other members becomes meaningless. So we decide to take back this option.

In fact, the edit option is also available only for limited time from the time of making the post.

Refer our FAQ section for more details about editing/deleting/reporting post options.
