Special Recognition

I would like to suggest special recognition to be given to certain threads where a lot of thought and effort and time is spent by the writer.. for example
Malspie's thread

is a really entertaining thread.. so much goes on there.. kudos to Mals for this great contribution. Thank you.

Definitely agree that Malspie is doing a wonderful work in that thread. Doesn't Finest Posts of the Month satisfy this need? Finest Post is not just confined to great writing. It is also for contributions that are valuable to the community at large (remember the 911 thread which got awarded FP a few months ago?). So, please go ahead and nominate malspie's thread for FP. Thank you.

Thank you very kindly for replying to my suggestion. Yes FP would be an adequate forum to address this.
My thoughts behind the suggestion was for more on going threads Like Malspie's Vaasthu thread which goes from month to month and takes lots of her time and effort.
I actually did nominate that this morning or last night I think in FP .

On a similar note I would like to suggest a special recognition for Ilites who respond actively in threads and also serve to motivate the writers. I personally quite a few women here who have consistently motivated me. These Ilites do also contribute and we could use a form of vote or such to nominate one person each month. This might also help more active partipation all round.
Like Finest Post we can have Finest Person or Finest ILite or Finest Participant etc..
