A Change Of Facility To Load Picture Inside The Articles

Here is a request from my side again for a feature which I enjoy,
I would be glad if you can change the link of inserting a picture from URL
To browse and directly into the article, this helps in making what we write wonderful
In presentation, and sometime the photographs have to be placed in between as we write
On a particular topic or poem, when it is inserted in the right place the article gets
Better presentation.

Now the pictures that I post along with article here in Indus, I am doing this after posting it in other site to get the way I would like to present, and I would love to have that feature here first and post here first so that I don’t have to go to other site to get this done.

There are multiple pictures loading facility and then one can keep inserting one by one by canceling the other as we go further in our article, and nothing gets stored in our file anywhere to increase the load of pictures and exceeding the limit there, this way no pictures need be kept in the document for long once it has been posted, we can delete it to make space for our other articles and pictures to be stored..

Now we get a lot many pictures in google and we can just draw and drop inside the windows, but one cannot speak for their resolutions, the ones that I get in forwards from other sites have wonderful resolution so clear and attractive and this has to be stored in document and if we want this to be posted in the article it is being done only through manage attachment, which comes under the base of the article and not right into it as it should had been…

For a collection of hobby work your present system is good but once this facility of inserting is available in a easier manner the manage attachment can be deleted as all will be here and I am sure quite many people would love to see their works inside window rather than an attachment..

Thank you for your suggestion about inserting pictures as part of the forum post or blog entry/comment, instead of uploading them as attachments.

We already have this facility to insert the pictures as part of the content you are posting here in the forum / blog. But to do this you should have the photo already available somewhere in the internet (in any proper site).

Here are the steps for the same:
1. Get the picture uploaded to any online photogallery like Flickr or Photobucket. They will provide you an IMG code that looks like this:

[img]url here[/img]

Use the IMG code with the URL for the picture and you will see the picture as part of your posting.

2. If you do not have access to such IMG code, then find the general URL of the picture from the site where you are taking it. Use this 'insert image' button ( ) and paste that URL. You will see the picture inserted as part of your posting.

Note: But the best ideal option is to have the pictures uploaded as attachments to the forum posts or blogs. That way the images appear as thumbnail to those who have access to attachments and those interested can click on it for full-view. This technically also helps in loading the site pages faster inspite of the images attached to it.

We understand that your suggestion of inserting pictures within the text content makes the presentation colorful with predominant picture display. But right now, we only have the above options to achieve it.

We shall have this suggestion in the wish list for the future site enhancements.
