Suggestions to highlight the days posts in all forums

Some of us including me make use of the 'Snippets Forum' beccause posts in other forums is not read to that extent.

Is there a way by which the site can highlight the posts in all forums of a particular day. This will help us to go to the right forum AND THERE WILL BE A BALANCED WAY. i DON'T KNOW WHETHER IT'S POSSIBLE NOR ITS MODALITIES. kanaka

Right on top of the page there is a purple bar on which new with a small arrow is there, click on the arrow a dialogue box comes click on new post you will get all the posts. posted on a particular day.
Hope this is what you are asking for.

Please follow what both of them have explained.

Today's posts & New posts - not only lists the current day posts from all forums. It actually lists starting from the recent posts to the oldest post in various forums that the members hasn't visited yet.

Using one particular forum like 'Snippets of Life' to get focus to your posts appears not a valid reason given there are various options like above to get attention to posts in various forums.

BTW, have you seen the 'New posts', 'New threads' section in the homepage? They too give some focus wherever you post it.

Making use of the relevant forums based on the topic category you are posting should infact get better responses.

PS: One more tip - the thread title is very critical to get the required attention to what you are posting. It not only gets the attention of already members here, but also those who are visiting the site and are to become members.
For example - this thread you just gave a title 'suggestions'. Unless some curious members like Arunarc and Nandshyam, not many are going to get into the thread to know what are the suggestions you are talking about. I renamed the thread title - if you make it briefly descriptive, members are going to know what you are talking about.
