Default Creation of new Forum'ONCOLOGY"

Hi

Iam Anuratha.I joined to this group only today. I was introduced to this group by Oviya, a member.

Iam a breast cancer patient. In order to create social awareness as regard Breast Cancer, Iam running a blog www.anuratha.blogspot.com

In the Sub Forum"Gyaenocology", under Forum"Health,Diet&Fitness", some information regarding my blog
is also there.

Breast Cancer does not come under the caption "Gyaenocology". It comes under "Oncology".

May I suggest to create a new Forum under"ONCOLOGY"with Sub Forums for various types of cancer? No need to mention to have a Sub Forum for Breast Cancer.

Hello Anuratha,

Welcome to our community. Some of us here have already visited your blog and really feel sorry for the pain you had gone through because of breast cancer. We all appreciate your good heart and efforts in trying to create a social awareness about breast cancer.

Regarding your suggestion about opening a 'Oncology' sub-forum, we really don't want to open too many sub-forums for each category unless we see about 10 to 20 discussions on a particular category. In fact, we were thinking of combining some of the sub-forums under health, diet & fitness into a more generic one, because some of them do not have much discussions there.

The thread you have referred having information about your blog that creates breast cancer awareness has been moved into 'Miscellaneous health issues' - refer this link - Breast cancer-warning!-Dont miss it..
You may feel free to post any additional info regarding the same in that thread.

As mentioned in that thread, as well as to Oviya, we can provide you with blog access within our community. You can have your own blogspace in IL, where you can get all your existing Tamil blogs about Breast Cancer translated into English (with people here or elsewhere coming forward to help) and get it hosted.

Think over and you can email induslady@indusladies.com if you require blog access here.

Do feel free to participate in other discussions in the community. We are glad to have you amongst us and there are lots of good hearted ladies here whom you can make friends.

Note: Your above post was originally auto-moderated from being displayed by our system. As per policy, we do not allow external links in the post by a new member, for mostly it will be for self-promotion. We now made your post to display, since in your case it is more of a social awareness blog.
