| dear malathy, i want u to help make this site more writer friendly that is do what the others give us, our own page on opening and whatever we post then takes it's course to the appropriate column on its own this way none will do any mistake and also kindly increase the words, it would be easier to post without cutting the little nuances needed for the article, like the blog section let all the articles be made so and we can get to read all as it will appear in the main page for the day and from there on to the appropriate title, but the writer need not bother about where he should post..i dont know whether i am asking for too much but this is the facility at other places and when i request them to write here a lot of guidance which sometime they do not bother to take and are silent members, who other wise are creating a riot of emotion in other places..sunkan

| Dear Sunkan, Your suggestion of landing in one's own page on logging in holds good, if IndusLadies is only a blog site. Whereas, IndusLadies is a community site (focussing on discussion forums and blogs too). There is no forum site that allows to land anyone on their own page. That's the reason we in IndusLadies have the features 'My posts' , 'My threads', etc. displayed below the menu 'Quicklinks'. Using that any member can see their own posts and threads alone. But to participate in discussions and to share information in a forum, that alone will not be enough. However, in our blog section, one can go to their own blogspace and see their blog entries & commnets received for their entries alone. Use the 'Go to My Blogs' option available in the left vertical column in the blogs section. Regarding post length restrictions, on the number of words allowed in a post in forums, you would not want to make one big lengthy post which will not be fondly read by many members. Break your article into small chunks of multiple posts within the same thread, that way it is userfriendly for viewing and reading. Moreover, lengthy articles (if it's your own) should go into 'blogs' than being in the forums. Similarly, our blogs does not have much length restrictions. There too when you exceed the big length allowed there, you can post it as another continuation entry. Thank you for your suggestion, hope I have made the best features we already have clear to you, so that you can educate your new writer friends joining our community.
