A very beautiful story.Only the woman worries about her virginity and having lost it while the man has no such qualms.
It was wonderful on the part of the parents to guide their daughter.
While on it I want to share with you a story.
An Indian woman joins her husband in the US after getting her visa etc.They are happy together.One day she goes to the mall.picks up things for the house and walks to her apartment ,getting down from her car carrying her bags.A huge coloured man offers to give her a hand in carrying the bags,she agrees.Once they enter her flat,he forces himself on her and molests her.He walks away.The woman sits stunned,shamed all sorts of terrible thoughts.Then she gets up,has a good wash and carries on with her chores.Geetha Bennet had written this story,I read it long time back.

A young girl (in India)is molested by a man when she agrees to taking a lift his car on a rainy evening.He molsts her.Her virginity is lost.She comes home in a distraught condition,tells her old mother about it and cries.Mother listens to her patiently.Takes her to the bathroom,gives her a nice bath and says,"Nothing has happened.Somebody abused your body,now you are ok,you are as pure as mother Ganges"This story titled Agnipravesam' was written by Jayakanthan and with this story he became very famous and what a writer!
