Your narration of a very touching story is very impressive. The problems faced by the aged people especially when one suffers by Alzheimer's is great. The parents in the story are blessed to have a very understanding and supporting daughter and God certainly blesses such people. Thanks for sharing.

Dear AC,

It is of my opinion that one has to first become a beliver of God and then get ready to face the trials . One cannot start thinking of God after we are faced in trials. The seed or thought should exist prior. Just my opinion.

It is true that one has to be a believer of God (Theist) even if one becomes a non-believer (Atheist) at a later stage in life (which a few people have become)!

"Help from Above" is the much sort after phrase that we stick to, once mishaps and mysteries strike our way. It might be a fiction, but the same becomes a case study when in research ! There are many who suffer with Dementia. The mood swings cannot be tolerated. Its hurts both; the one who experiences and the others too who take care of them; though not physically but mentally on a high tone.

This thread has come as an awareness and also as a stress-reliever for those who take care of the tangles in the brain. Any disease involves three stages of research: Cause, Treatment and Cure. But for alzheimer's it can only be Cause, Treatment and Care.

I salute your lively narration skills my dearest sis !! All the very best and may I follow the suit in my own ways :):)

I have never understood how anyone can become a non believer.. canyou?
One just needs to look around and find proof.. but its very special when the proof comes in real life. Thank for writing here Malathi.. when I reply to you I think more! maybe thats a good thing:)

I have been very fortunate to always get help from above.. when I frist wrote Chellamal.. wasnt sure how its going to be recvd.. and who encouraged me.. none other than my beloved husband.. he was more excited than I.. and so I continue to write.. when both my father inlaw and motherinlaw passed away help came from above. I cannot even begin to count nor narrate.. so I wrote this.. glad you liked it:)
