கடவுளும் கந்தசாமியும்

Dear Friends,

Again inspired by Cheeniya Sir's 'the much harassed God', I have written this comic story. I hope you will enjoy. Please post me a line of your appreciation which I shall chrish.

கடவுளும் கந்தசாமியும்

கந்தசாமி ஒரு ஓய்வு பெற்ற அரசாங்க அதிகாரி. மாலை வேளைகளில் அவர் ஒரு நடையாகச் சென்று பக்கத்து பார்க் பெஞ்சில் அமர்ந்து ஆசுவாசம் செயவார். அன்றும் அவ்வாறே அவர் அமர்ந்திருந்தார். அன்று அவர் மனம் சஞ்சலமுற்றிருந்தது

" அப்பனே முருகா தினமும் நான் மனமுருக உன்னை துதிக்கின்றேன் என்னை ஏன் இப்படி சோதிக்கிறாய்" என்று புலம்பினார்.

என்ன ஆச்சரியம்? முருகப் பெருமான் அவரின் புலம்பலைக் கேட்டு அவருக்கு அருள் புரிய அசரிரீயாக வந்து

" கந்தசாமி உன் பக்தியை நாம் அறிவோம் உனது குறை தான் என்ன?" என்று வினவினார்

கந்தசாமிக்கு மெய் சிலிர்த்தது பக்கத்தில் இருப்பவர்கள் தன்னை தப்பாக நினைக்கக் கூடாது எனறு தனது மெல்லிய குரலில்

" அதை ஏன் கேட்கிறாய் முருகா ஓய்வு பெற்று வீட்டில் கிருஷ்ணா ராமா கோவிந்தா என்று இருக்க முடியவில்லை"

அசரிரீ முருகன் குறுக்கிட்டு " கந்தசாமி உனது பரந்த மனப்பான்மையை நான் பாராட்டுகிறேன் சைவராகிய நீங்கள் ஓய்வு பெற்று வீட்டில் சிவா கணேசா முருகா என்று இல்லாமல் கிருஷ்ணா ராமா கோவிந்தா என்று இருப்பது அரியும் சிவனும் ஒன்று அறியாதவர் வாயில் மண்ணு என்பதை பறைசாற்றுகிறது" என்றார்

கந்தசாமி தொடர்ந்து " அதை ஏன் கேட்கிறாய் முருகா வீட்டில் இருப்பதோ ஒரே டிவி அதன் ரிமோட் கண்ட்ரோலைக் கைப்பற்ற எனது மகன் குமாருக்கும் மகள் லட்சுமிக்கும் துவந்த யுத்தம் நடக்கிறது குமாருக்கு IPL மாட்சுகள் பார்க்க வேண்டும் அதே நேரத்தில் லட்சுமிக்கு சன் டிவி சீரியல்கள் பார்க்க வேண்டும். இருவரும் பொறியியல் கல்லூரியில் படிக்கிறார்கள் அவர்களது செமஸ்டர் பரீடசைகள் வேறு நடந்து கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. எனது மனைவி வேறு என்னை கையாலாகாதவன் குழந்தைகளை கட்டுப் படுத்த தெரியாதவன் என்று பழிக்கின்றாள்" இவ்வாறு சொல்லி அங்கலாய்த்தார் கந்தசாமி.

முருகன் சிரித்துக்கொண்டே " இது எல்லா வீடுகளிலும் நடக்கிறது. இருந்தாலும் நீ என் சிறந்த பகதன் ஆதலால் நான் இதை சரி செய்கிறேன். நீ கவலையில்லாமல் வீட்டுக்குப் போ" எனறார்.

வீட்டை அடைந்த கந்தசாமிக்கு ஒரே ஆச்சரியம். வீடு அமைதியில் மூழ்கி இருந்தது. இரவு மணி 8.30 IPL மாட்சு ஆரம்பித்திருக்குமே சன் டிவி சீரியல்கள் வேறு நடந்து கொண்டிருக்குமே குமாரும் லட்சுமியும் என்ன பண்ணுகிறார்கள் என்று அவர்களது அறைகளை எட்டிப் பார்த்தால் இருவரும் பாட புத்தகங்களில் மூழ்கியிருந்தனர்.

கந்தசாமி பூஜை அறைக்குள் சென்று மனதுக்குள் முருகனை தியானம் செய்து
"முருகா எப்படி இந்த அற்புதம் நிகழ்ந்தது?" என்று வினவினார்.

அசரீரி முருகன் சிரித்துக் கொண்டே " உன் மகனுக்கு அவனது அத்தை பெண் மீது காதல். நான் அவளை அவனுக்கு ஒரு போன் செய்து நீ படிக்காமல் கிரிக்கெட் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தால் வாழ்க்கையில் முன்னேற முடியாது. எனக்கு கணவராக வருபவர் நன்றாக படித்து அமெரிக்கா செல்ல வேண்டும் எனறு விரும்புகிறேன். நீ தொடரந்து கிரிக்கெட் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தால் பாஜி சிரிசந்தை அடித்தது போல் நான் உன்னை அடிப்பேன்" என்று சொல்ல பெட்டிப் பாம்பாய் படிக்க ஆரம்பித்தான்".

"அதே மாதிரி உன் பெண் அவளது மாமன் மகனை விரும்புவதால் அவனையும் ஒரு போன் செய்து நீ இப்படி சன் டிவி சீரியல்களில் ஈடுபாடு இலலாமல் படிப்பில் கவனம் செலுத்தினால் எனது இல்லத்து அரசி யாக வந்து கோலங்கள் பல போட முடியும்" என்று சொல்ல அவளும் படிக்க ஆரம்பித்தாள்" என்றார்.

கந்தசாமி மெய் சிலிர்த்துப் போய் " முருகா நீ கலியுகத்தில் கண் கண்ட தெய்வம்" என்றார்

very good idea, Geetha..to make youngsters listen to our words (read as advice)..their goal has to be reminded now and then by their 'beloved' ones...

I thought Kandaswamy wouldn't believe that Lord Muruga would appear before him...just like in cinemas....

I am honoured by your addressing me as classic Geetha. You are right that writting comedies is more difficult. I write in amomentary inspitation and comedy comes automatically. I will certainly strive to write more and with your support I get motivated.

Thanks for your valuable comments. It is the speciality of Tamil humour in that it makes you not only laugh but also make you think. Even the participants in Asathapovathu yaaru always leave a message in the end after telling the jokes.
