    "He's late again", she sighed to herself as she quietly unlocked the door. Though lights were out, an eerie glow beckoned from the kitchen. Unable to shake the sensation of being watched, she dialled emergency as she tiptoed inside to investigate. Bang! A flash. "Happy birthday!", he screamed along with all their friends.
