WHERE IS MY MR. RIGHT. - Story of Ramya, her teenage and married life... PART 12

Vedavathi is all excited about Suresh engagement next month..She takes Ramya's mom for shopping sarees and gold..


Vedavthi: How is this saree?

Ramya's mom: Yeah its nice, but its too costly na....

Vedavathi: They have given 1lakh to buy dress for suresh, it wont look good, if we dont buy 25k worth saree for Rajni....

Ramya's mom: Hmm.. but this colour is very dark, i think light colour suits Rajni..

Vedavathi: Yes, you are right...(Show me some light colour sarees)

Vedavathi also buys a saree for herself, and buys a saree
to Ramya's mom as gift....

Vedavathi: I am planning to buy Rajni a necklace..They are putting her a Kg of gold, but if we dont put something, it wont look good na....

Ramya mom: But there is still 3 months for marriage..

Vedavathi: Yeah, but gold price might increase, let me buy now...

They both finish buying sarees and gold and return home by 7;00pm....


Krishnappa,Rakesh and Ramya's dad everyone was waiting for them.. Cant you leave keys here and go..We are waiting from an hour here without keys... But our Ramya dear gave us a nice strong cofee..(Says krishnappa)


Vedavathi :Oh m sorry, we dint expect it to be this late.....
Sorry Rakesh, guess you had so much to study na...

You know after engagement he just gets 15days to submit
final project..After that Our Rakesh will be in job.......

Rakesh says to himself, Oh no mom thanks for getting late, i got to
have coffee from this beauty, and i could spend some time with her..
(without speaking a word, but just staring at her)


Before going, Krishnappa invites Ramya's family to come to town
a day before the engagement...

Rakesh is all excited, as he gets to spend more time with Ramya...


Ramya is busy preparing for her final year Exams...Ramya's college doesnt have a Campus, so Ramya decides to join a course after exam...

One evening Rakesh comes to Ramya's places Looking for
his mom for a key..

Rakesh: Aunty..Is my mom here..

Ramya mom: Yeah she just left, she said she will go to
provision stores and go home.

Rakesh: Oh ok, bye aunty..

Ramya mom: Wait, you can go after 10mins, she wouldn't
have reached yet..

Rakesh Was happy that he is asked to say, and his eyes is searching
for Ramya..).

Ramya mom: Ramya.... Get coffee for Rakesh....
(Ramya gets coffee for rakesh, her mom and herself and sits)

Ramya mom: So all project work is over?? Will they train you again in job ? or you will start working directly....

Rakesh: I did project on Oracle, so am hoping they will directly
place me in project...

Ramya mom: Oh thats good, Our ramya is also planning to do course, after exams.. Her college doesnt have Campus selections...

Rakesh: Yes its good aunty, if you have any certificate, its easy to get job, Let her do oracle and finish certifications...


Ramya mom: Oh is it..Ramya check about this Oracle course..

Ramya: Just says "Ok"
(Till date Ramya and Rakesh have never spoken directly)


Rakesh gets busy with his Project work..He wanted to finish the works soon so he can be free When his brother suresh comes for engagementRakesh is Suresh's pet, and gets him a gift every time he visits....


Vedavathi is busy preparing for the Engagement....Vedavathi is very happy and proud that she has got such a rich To-be DIL, and as she is only daughter,and Suresh/Rajni will inherit Rajappa's entire property....


3days before Engagement Suresh comes to Bangalore..Same day noon, they hire a Car, and start to town for Engagement...Before going they visit Ramya's place..(Krishnappa wanted to invite again)

We are starting now, ensure you come a day before..I have asked people there to clean our Town house, and rooms are ready for friends/relatives stay..(says Krishnappa)

Sure we will come, since its in week-end... We can easily come...Also Ramya is having study holidays, so we all can come...(says Ramya dad)

Rakesh is excited that he gets to stay with Ramya in same house...

 

Ramya and family went a day before to engagement..And are welcomed by Krishnappa and Vedavathi. Vedavathi allocates a room for them(Yes its a old house with lot of bedrooms..

Vedavathi : Freshen up and come, by that time Suresh and Rakesh will come, we all can have lunch. They have gone to buy some gifts..

After some time....

Rakesh go and call Ramya and her parents for lunch...After lunch we need to decorate this hall, segregate gifts, arrange plates we need to give from guys side.. lot of works are pending..

Rakesh (dint know they have come) Oh they have come good good...
Uncle will help in doing things.(But actual reason for his excitement is Ramya...)

Rakesh knocks the door..Ramya opened the door..(Ramya is wearing a Simple Ghagra with matching earrings and chain, and was looking like a princess)...

(Without his knowledge, for first time ever Rakesh said)
"Wow, you are looking beautiful"........

Ramya's mom: right na rakesh, She looks so good in this Ghagra na,
I told you right and you wanted to wear some stupid chudidar..

Ramya walks out without answering..They all have lunch and Ramya's mom, vedavathi and other ladies gets busy in arranging gifts, and stuff.. Rakesh,suresh is overlooking people who were decorating the hall. Ramya is just sitting with Ladies.. A lady calls
Ramya to serve juice to everybody....And Ramya starts serving juice to everyone....

Rakesh was standing alone, monitoring a guy hanging flowers to main gate...Ramya walked towards him to give juice, sudddenly someone rushes in between and juice was spilled on Rakesh....
I am sorry, i am sorry, that man......(says Ramya) Yeah yeah, its ok dont worry, i know he dashed you..(rakesh)

Rakesh walks to a near by tank... Ramya follows him.... Ramya pours water in a mug, and Rakesh washes it off...Krishnappa who was going out, sees this....

Next day....Vedavathi gives coffee to everyone and asks everyone to be ready by 9;00am. Enagement is in a hall near to Krishnappa's town house...

Rajappa and wife is standing at door inviting everyone..Ramya laughs seeing them who is wearing heavy jewellery.. Rajappa and wife is very dark and short. With this heavy dressing and jewellery they were looking much horrible...


Guests are directly sent to breakfast, 3 types of breakfast was served...After a heavy breakfast people followed to Enagagement hall, which is decorated beautifully
and was almost like a marriage decoration...

Ramya and family settles down in a chair. Vedavathi was seen walking fastly here and there and boasting people about Rajappa's wealth and gold he has put for Rajni..


Around 10;00, the ceremony started and the couple Rajni and suresh were seated in big decorated chairs..Suresh was looking handsome in Sherwani..Rajni was wearing Light colour saree(selected by vedavathi) but Gaudi makeup and heavy jewels dint suit her..Stand alone she was ok, but compared to Suresh, she was looking very low.
Ramya could hear many people talking, just coz Rajappa is rich, he could marry this short-dark girl to a Handsome-Software engineer.. Otherwise who would marrya uneducated not-so-goodlooking girl...

Rakesh was busy taking care of suresh friends...
