    So far:
Janani is happily married to Vishnu. Everyone loves her and it is all perfect until Janani starts to obsess about Vishnu and becomes emotional when he is not able to spend time with her due to his hectic demanding work schedule. Janani gives birth to a baby boy and they name him Arya. Arya is a very active baby and takes up Janani's time completely.

    Part 5:

Arya was in a deep sleep and it made Janani sigh in relief. It is true that babies grow so fast and she barely had time for anything these days. She mostly kept running behind the little master, who was super active and kept knocking out something or the other from the shelves or pulling the tail of the neighbor's dog.

She was wildly possessive about him and refused to be away from him even for a minute. He was her precious Arya and watching him and taking care of him was her primary purpose in life. Arya was a mother's boy as well and most of the times hardly went to Vishnu or anyone else. He was just happy being with his mom all the time and it only made Janani more happy. She laughed when he laughed and she cried when he cried.

Vishnu looked at the sleeping child and sighed as well. Life had become a lot interesting after Arya's arrival and he loved the noisy, cluttered house with toys everywhere. Janani came to the bed and Vishnu smiled at her. How long ago was it when they had sat like this and spoken for hours and hours? She was tired and her eyes showed complete exhaustion. When was the last time she had slept undisturbed the whole night or when was the last time she even smelled some fresh air? She needed some rest, time off just for herself, just for themselves. Little did Vishnu know that Janani, a mother, thought quite differently. She loved being a mother, even if it took every ounce of her strength and she had not thought about sleep or free time or anything else last couple of years since the day Arya was born. All that mattered to her was making sure that Arya was happy, fed and burped, slept well and played well and she was contended and happy, though a little tired.

The more he looked at Janani's tired eyes, the more Vishnu wanted to do something. He kept thinking that she needs a break from this constant demanding routine and have some time for herself. It has been long since he had taken a break as well and things were not really moving fast at work at the moment. Vishnu contemplated about going away with Janani for the weekend to some place, maybe Ooty or Kodaikanal. Will it be ok to take Arya with them to such a cool place, he wondered. But, wont Janani be worrying about Arya the whole time and forget about herself completely? So, the best thing would be to leave Arya with his mom for 2 days, he concluded. That way Janani will be able to rest atleast for 2 days and Arya will not even realize that she's gone as he is very comfortable with his grand mother. Having thought of a plan, he asked Janani if she is up for a surprise trip to Ooty this weekend. Her face lighted up and she immediately said, 'great idea, Arya would love it, we havent really gone anywhere with Arya, he would love an outing'.

Vishnu did not want to burst her bubble by saying that they would leave Arya at home, he felt miserable to leave Arya and he would miss him. But he was never able to complete even a single conversation these days as Janani would be listening to him one minute with all her attention and distracted the moment Arya was within her sight. He wanted to spend time with Janani alone, talk to her, let her rest and take care of herself just for 2 days without worrying about Arya.

He did not have the guts to tell her even when she kept packing Arya's little clothes in the suitcase and waited for the right moment. He had already told Kamala about his plan and his mother in law too had offered to visit them during the weekend.

Arya had just gone to sleep and Janani was excited and checking the bags to make sure she had taken all of Arya's things. Janani was telling him they would start after 7, once Arya wakes up. Vishnu tried to tell her but could not.

The next morning, she got Arya ready. He was bouncing in joy, he knew they were going out and he loved going out, especially in a car. Vishnu started the car and after going around the block came back home. Janani was puzzled and kept asking if he had forgotten something. Once they were back home, Kamala came out and asked for Arya. Janani gave him to her and before she could get out of the car, Kamala took Arya's bags out and Vishnu started the car. Janani did not understand what was going on and started screaming to stop the car. She longingly looked back at Arya who was now playing with his grand mother and forgotten about the car. Vishnu tried to make her understand saying that Arya would be really fine with his mom and her mother had promised to come over as well and they would be back soon. He terribly missed Arya already and could not make up his mind but Janani needed a break and he thought she will understand later.

Janani was burning with rage, they had fooled her. Her husband had planned against her and they had separated her from her Arya. She was breathing hard and felt suffocated to even think about how she was going to spend a minute without Arya. She started sobbing hysterically. Vishnu could not stop her crying and could not decide if he should go back. He decided to give her some time. But, when she still kept sobbing, he could take it no longer and drove back home. Janani stopped crying only when Arya was in her hands and she had hugged and kissed him madly as if she had not seen him for years. She was angry at Kamala but did not show it for she did only what her son asked her to. Vishnu entered the bed room with all the bags and looked at her. Janani looked at him with such hatred in her eyes that made his heart crumble. He had never seen her like this.

Thank you very much dear ILT for the first fb :bowdown.

So true, some of the instances in this story, though fiction, is roughly based on some real life characters/incidences, there are many Janani's out there :hide:

Good one! Lets see what happens next!
Why doesn't she just have a heart to heart talk with her DH and share her feelings. Why does she want him to guess?

    Thank you SuccessMinded :)
Janani, being an only child, was never too open when it came to sharing her feelings. She is also extremely possessive having grown up all alone. Her parents had played to her tunes all the while as she was their only child and hence she pretty much expected Vishnu to do the same, understand her perfectly without being told.
