Your vivid description about Savvy's character was hilarious. I loved it.
Given an option I would choose to run away from such people.. but must admit that she has a steady character.Does not spare her child & husband too,let alone friends and colleagues.
Some smart women are nosy with others and tight lipped about their personal affairs.Our Savvy is unique!

Savvy Tai is a character alright :) What is heartening about her is she put even her own family into corners, not just her friends. There are such people around, sure. Even though I would make a big curve around such ppl to avoid embarrassment , I cannot help but envy them for being as they are without pretenses :)

Savvy did not mind putting down her own family coz Savvy does it with no harmful intentions. She is just that way, her trueself. if you are as open as her, you can be her best friend, but, people usually keep a safe distance... as you have rightly said.
