In USA you can get Carbona Color Run which is made for exactly this type of mishap. It works but the top will lose some of its color. YOu can find in grocery store in the Carbona display section in laundry aisle.

    Hi Antu,
Just apply the tootpaste(colgate closeup anything) generously on the area of stain after making it wet leave it for 10 minutes and brush and rinse.the stain will go.i tried this on my own after i got irriated to remove the stain from my dh;s shirt and it worked.after the cloth is dried whatever stain is left over ,even that will vanish.try and let me know.

Hi Boppy, my jeans got stained from another dress and it was washed and dried. Read somewhere that if your dry the stain it is hard to remove it. Will the toothpaste method work still?

my dear you have to wash and rinse with toothpaste and then allow it to dry as normal.it worked for me.hope it works for u too.u have to apply it generously based on the amount of stain u have to remove.
