It's that much easy ya....First of all don't use high flame for boiling milk at any instance......will get burnt on the sides.... becomes difficult to get over....use that metal scraper with some Vim or Sabena....

I don't boil milk anymore here in the U.S. but in India, while boiling,I used to stir very regularly.Continuous stirring is not required. Also, medium heat only.Once milk boils, switch off. After all milk is used, soak the vessel, like all the others have said.If you want,go ahead and add a drop of dishwashing liquid to the water while soaking. This should make it easy to clean.

    U microwave it??

I know milk here is pasteurized and all, but still we don't know what, how these companies do it and also not sure if you are buying organic milk, even though I suggest you boil it.

    hi,

Any greased or hard stains can be removed with baking powder and vinegar...
Put baking powder on the vessel lavishly and and pour vinegar (enough to cover the burnt parts) and then after 2 or 3 hours you can find your vessel almost new!!!
    :cheers

Oops Nandhu... I think thats a caution to me... i microwave my morning coffee milk :( thanks for sharing that news!

Nandhu, raw milk is milk that is straight from the cow - unpasteurized. The milk sold in stores are pasteurized and are safe to drink. I don't microwave for cereal or drinking. I only boil in the microwave for making curd.

boiling or heating the milk on sim flame reduces all the tensions in cleaning milk vessels.and you get squeaky clean vessel after a normal wash.

    Nandu,thats a good piece of info.thanks
