We live in a rental home and one of the wash basin's in the living room is a mess. As in, the water movement down the drain is slow, something must have been stuck up. And there is no chance for us to replace the pipe for obvious reasons. Googled a lot and found that baking soda + vinegar combo loosens up any dirt and grime and eases the water flow. It did for for quite sometime but again the problem has sprung up and no amount of this combo seems to be working.

Do you guys have any other solution?

P.S: We use this to brush our teeth and wash hands after having meals. And we need it working, very badly.

You can try pouring a large quantity of boiling water. But if this does not work, then there are probably solid particles blocking the drain.
A commercial drain cleaner like Liquid Plummr might work, but it can corrode pipes. A plumber should be able to snake the drain.

Drainex is v. good.. used it in my previous space for blocked kitchen pipe. Also, the pipe might not be blocked and there might be issue with the final drainage. So, consider calling the plumber..
