I had seen this mixture being used to clean stove top . I had good results with that so i tried it on the anodized tava as well and it worked like magic.
Only thing was that instead of heating the tava i put the mixture in hot water and rubbed over the tava.

Actually the reason to heat the tawa to make it warm. You used warm water to warm it. Both are same.When we warm it, then the stubborn grease become loose and cleaning become more easier.
