    Dear Kamala,

Cheer up. As latha says, our life is driven by not only us but the people around us too. To be frank last few days I was under Pr-menstrual stress, I was emotionally very upset had a fight with DH, unusually didn't talk to him properly for last 5 days, but sent him a mail explaining my stress and a link explaining PMS. I thought at least it will keep him away to pick up any argument with me during this time which will avoid serious fight in front of kids. I find it very difficult to indicate this to him during every cycle. As I know my problem, I am able to control myself for 4-5 months, but after that I burst.

    Regards
    Manjukps

    Oh not only me..... :cheers

Though I explained to him, it so happens every month. Dr says we have to cross all these things.

I am waiting for the New year, to have my busiest schedule. Though I fear of my health and energy level, I wont feel as lonely at home.

    Dear ladies
Thanks you all for so much assurance.
I must apologize for giving you all a wrong impression. This was not a family quarrel or politics.
It was an incidence that took place in one of my relatives family that left me disturbed.
I do not wish to divulge what it is out of respect to their privacy.

But I once again thank you very much for you kind words and support. They are invaluable in spirit.

    Shara
Well planned. Thanks for posting the Deepavali plans.
    Mine is similar too.

    Dear Priya
    Welcome to this thread.
Very nice idea. Very neat and quick to reach too. Thanks for sharing.

    Dear Akila
Nice to read your updates. Now I want to have somas too. Any mention of "norukku theeni" I start drooling. Especially somas - haven't had in a long time.

    Dear Manju
Very nice. You are very innovative. I get so much plastic bags I take bundles to the grocery store for recycling. So that big a basket is what finally worked for me.

    "Enge siringa pakkalam"
Sirippu en koodan pirathathu; athu endrum maraiyaadu. No worries. :)

Re: Part II - Time management - cooking, cleaning, and exercise

    Deepavali Preparations.

My plan is similar to Shara's
Last Saturday I decided what sweets/savories to make.
I settled on Badhushahi and Laddu, and for savories I decided on Thenkuzhal and Ribbon pakoda.

    Items I need:
    1.Besan
    2. Urad dhal flour
    3. Rice flour
    4. Maida (All-purpose flour)
    5. Sugar
    7. Butter to make ghee.
    8. Vanaspati (shortening)
    9. Saffron, Cardamom, edible camphor, etc.
    10. Oil

After checking all the items at home I went on Sunday to buy the items I needed.

I am also planning to make the items on Saturday/Sunday. It is not a holiday for me on 13th so will celebrate on the 12th night itself (13th morning in India) and then go to work. The sweets will be there for my sons who will be coming home for Thanksgiving.

    So that is my plan.

Will update anything else that comes to my mind.
