cooktop and chimney

    Hi all
    I am planning to buy a cook top and chimney
    The questions I want to ask are
    1. Is a glass cook top better or a steel cooktop
    2.suggest good brands for both. I just saw gilma and sunflame cook top. But I hear there are other brands also. Could you share your personal experiences for the same
    3.Also I want to know whether buying a 4 burner would be better or 3 burner. I ask this because I have seen gilma 4 burner cooktops and the space between all the 4 burners is very narrow. You cannot keep 2 big vessels at the same time.

    For almost 25 years we used a cast iron two burner stove, which never gave trouble. We changed to a 4 burner steel Vinod stove. After five years we changed to 4 burner Prestige glass top.

    The cast iron one was an open execution type and was the best.

    The glass top looks good, easy to clean but fragile. One has to be careful about not dropping metal objects on it.

    I designed and built my own chimney.
