Aware of ancient games

Hi all IL'ites,
i think all the ancient games like thayakaram, pallanguzhi like etc are erased in this fast changing world. IL'tes pls remember wtever the games u know so that all will know abt that games.

Nice post to remember the good old games. But I still have Pallanguzhi in my house.

My children are playing with that occasionally.

but in our house for every summer holidays we play tayam and kalanka (game played with a stone).

in our childhood we all used to play thayam, pallanguzhi, kallanga, puliyangai. lovely games. giving strength for the hands. actually, my teacher Dr. balambal has done so many research in this and has written book on it. she has been invited by foreign universities to give lecture on this subject.
