People go around foraying unneccesary comparisons. infact i don't blame her..when she has a great list of achievements to speak for her..

Joshna Chinnappa was the first Indian woman to win the prestigious under-17 squash title
She was the first Indian to win the British Open Under - 19
She was the first Indian to win the Junior Asian squash championship in
She was the first Indian to win the squash medal at the SAF Games in 2004.
She was also the first Indian finalist at the World Junior championship.

A three cheers to her also....

Do remind me of more...will join you in saying cheers to them...

Shanti,

Let our next be for Pankaj Advani
He is the next best player for India in the world of Snooker and Billiards after Geet Sethi...A prodigy indeed....

Among his achievements are......

He is 2007 IBSF World's Billiards Champion(Time format)
-----he missed out the same in point format in the quarter finals...

In 2006 he was the Asian Games gold medallist
In 2005 he was Asian and Indian Billiards Champion
and also the National Junior champ in both snooker and billiards..

This is among the many other titles in the national and Karnataka states...senior and junior levels....

After Bindra's gold in Olympics..........

Its our football team elsewhere...........India beat Tajikistan, the defending champions, in the AFC Challenge cup tournament 4-1, in Hyderabad.
Sunil Chettri scored a hat trick and the other was by captain Baichung Bhutia.
This means they qualify for the Asian Cup to be held in Doha in 2011.
This qualification comes after 24years for India...

Hope they pick the title in the 2011 games.

Three cheers to the chess champions.

India is the first nation in the World junior championship to capture tieles in both sections after the introduction of girls competition in 1983.

Three cheers to Harika.D for her world junior girls champion title and to Parimarjan Negi for the world junior runner-up.
