India Won the Twenty 20 world Cup

Hey everybody

Let us congratulate each other, on India's Win in the Twenty 20 world Cup. After a long time ou Indian team has done so well and specially the young team of Dhoni has showed it to all the oldies that they are anyday better than them... what they coldnt do in such a long time... they have done it... some of the players were playng for the first time....

Yuvi, Joginder, R.P. Singh, Dhoni and every one in team has been great. We are prod of them. Indian Audience all over South africa has been a great support too.... overwhelming crowds of indians kept cheering the Indian team... for them also it would have been a thing of lifetime to watch india win win all the way...

India Beat Pakistan in Final by 5 runs... all out...

Congrats Indian Team for Winning the First Twenty20 World Cup defeating arch rivals Pakistan.... A very happy occasion for all Indian Cricket Fans... The team India is a Young team headed by a Young and Vibrant Captain Mahindra Singh Dhoni....

Superb Innings... Winning by 5 runs.... And also winning the 4th consecutive match in the series... against South Africa, England, Australia and now Pakistan..... India kept the record of winning against Pakistan in all the World Cup Matches...

Despite all odds, India kept the record of winning against Pakistan in all the World Cup Matches.

To-days Final was an tip in iceberg.....

With so much fight to finish the Pakistan Players offered till the last over.

Althogh the Victory margins are very small ( Just 5 runs ), still It is a Historic Victory....

Congrats to Indian Team for the efforts to remain Top amidst all odds...

The journey in this Twenty 20 Tournament to finals at Johannesburg is quite surprising with close fights amidst other teams.

The Team Efforts and New Approach to fielding, bowling and batting led all the way to Glory.


In a match that saw fortunes fluctuate till the dying moments, the young Indian team was able to score only 157 for five and then held its nerve to dismiss Pakistan for 152 with just three balls to spare.

It was India's first he triumph since winning the 60 overs-a-side World Cup in 1983.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni's band of young warriors roared back in great style to come out trumps and claim the winners' purse of US $49,000.

We must Congradulate the fine batting performance of Gautam Gambhir for his brilliant 75 runs, Rohit Sharma's 30 not out and the bowlers Irfan Pathan's 3 for 16,RP Singh's 3 for 26, JSharma's 2 for 20.
We must also give our credits to Pakistan batsman Misbha for his valient 43, Nazir's 33 amidst lots of tensions to every fans...

A special praise must be reserved for Dhoni, who led the side with great distinction, even though this was his first outing as the captain of the team.

Let the young cricketters learn all their lessons to perform better in future tournaments.
