Ever Heard Of Train Getting A Push From Passengers??

Ever heard of train getting pushed by passengers:

It happened in Bihar, the lalu’s land , must had seen a car or a truck being pushed so that it gets a start. But ever heard about a train engine being given a push by the stranded passengers.
On Tuesday evening when 100 odd passengers pushed the engine of 565 Up EMU for about 60 metres so that the locomotive could get current from the adjoining electric pole. The train was stranded near Raghunathpur station on the Patna – Buxar route (under East Central Railway) after some mischievous elements snapped its vacuum.

As the driver failed to start the engine, the passengers got restless, the driver then pleaded with the irate passengers that he was unable to get the electricity required to ignite the engine, suggesting that the only way out to overcome the impasse was to give the engine a push, for around 60 meters to reach the nearest pole. The over head electric wire will then give sufficient current to start the engine.

Left with no option the passengers more than 100 and odd gave the desired push after the engine was detached from the bogies. After some attempts the heavy engine moved to the electric pole some 60meters away. The locomotive having sufficient current got started and came back to pick up the bogies.

Then began the happy journey ??they say…hahahahahahha it can happen only in India??? regards sunkan
