Clock..clock on the wall....

Dear friends,
I was wondering one day...do all the clocks show the same time...no way..
even in our own house-holds, each one shows a different time..of course..only minutes in difference...(not like the time of each time zones..)
Even in the clock or watch stores, if you notice not all the clocks or watches show the correct time....
In our house, each and every room has a minimum of one or two clocks, either be it a digital on a microwave,battery operated or the original time-piece...except in the restrooms...
My daughter would take the time-piece to the bathroom as if doing everything according to her plan watching the clock....believe me...she does according to HER plan and comes out of it only after an hour ( read it as 60+ min)..
If this is the case with the clock, believe how she would be when there is no clock in the bathroom...
sorry for the deviation regarding the correct time...

On the lines of 'mirror, mirror on the wall', I was thinking...'Clock, clock on the wall, which one shows the correct time of them all...'

Incidentally, I read in Wikihow today.how you can tell the time without a clock and it looks interesting...thought of practising myself and let you know the results..

True...Its the same in our house too...cant ever stay cool by depending coz dont know which is perfect..that too in houses were people are more in numbers;like ours everyone will tune up according to their convenience; either 5 mins fast; 2 mins slow etc etc... and the sad part is sometimes the difference in radio time and news channels in tv also differs :(

A 'time' ly topic, intersting. Time management being a regular word these days .Guess Shuba is practising it thoroughly.

Incidently you know when I used to visit my folks in the native they would look at the sky and tell me the time.It was very intriguing how they did it ,and it would be almost precise.

These days the cell tells me everything since its always at hand. The wall clocks have merely been reduced to a piece of furniture at my place, just to adorn the walls and hear the cuckoo cries.

After the cell came in handy, even the times are within reach of us...

It is not Shuba but my elder daughter...i had mentioned here...

So even the clocks became an attachment to the furniture..in our living room...nice change...yaar...hope it is 'running'....

Hi nice topic on clocks.. Many are taking a back seat nowadays with the advent of digital ones..
I have to agree with saraswathi about your daughters choice of hiding place.. a one place where she can escape uuuuuuuuuuuuu

Hi Bhargavi..After reading your post I counted the clocks in my home.It consists of 3 digital(1 in microwave,one in cooker,one digital clock with FM).
Two normal ones(one sentiment clock of my DH,One with the temperature display).Remaining in mobile phones and wrist watches.No one had the same time.
To add to the confusion we have IST set in our laptop..

good one...like the others , i realised only now that all the clocks at my place show diff times too...but they all exist as a part of the furniture,like devika says and yes all are working but at their own sweet time...no one bothers to check as the mobile has now become all in one...BTW loved your daughters escape
