Hi Ridge..

I am in office and I read this article.. I am having a very hard time controlling my laughter. my neighbours in the adjacent cubicles must be wondering what happened to me..
the most funniest line... Tie a ribbon before he arrives

Thank god I was not born in the 50s..

On a serious note, it is very surprising to know such practices existed in the 50s in UK..

Hahah ...this is really funny ..
If this is how the ladies were supposed to be in 1950 ...I really pitty them ..(who knows I might have been one of those women in my last birth )
But hey ...this is in UK ...I wonder how it had been in India during that time ...lot more worser I guess ..I am going to chk out with my grandma how her life was ..

Ridgema,
This was not at all a surprise to me...as where humans live, they have these kind of rules against the weaker sections..
But some are still there with these kind of expectations..

Dear Ridgemma,

Reading this, I am glad once again that the English left our country much before 1955

Dear all

WOW,WOW,WOW

So Many FBs......Thank you all Ladies....Very glad that this piece amused you all...... As Mythraeyi said our DHs will be very much amused and feel indifferent, if v behave like this, as they have seen our real faces by now...., they will feel this is a reality joke on them.....

little more search reveals that this article I was able to find out the scanned copy of this article, though many claim that this is graphics...see attachment

Whatever, I was happy to make you all smile (or laugh, should I say) with this funny thing....

Luv

Ridge
