You give a woman a choice, she will be in a dilemma... she wants it all?!!

Sure Kamla, please feel free to call me any way you wish. Whichever makes you feel comfortable and it need not be the same every time. Variety, after all, is the spice of life. :)

A very nice sensitive post. I could relate to it very well. I knew a lovely canine Appu as all in the complex would call her, with the most beautiful eyes living near my home and when my two notorious dogs at home would give me a hell of a time creating mischief and running out of the gate all the time, this one Appu would escort me to get these naughty ones back home. She lived near my gate and was always happy with whatever attention I gave her( though now i feel it was very little). But one day when she breathed her last due to an accident I felt such a terrible vaccum in my life because till then the love was something that was considered a routine but it wasnt ,it was a bonus that would now be missing from my life.
I miss Appu terribly and your post revived memories of her.Infact when somebody recommended this post he said I would cry and thats what i did!
Thanks for bringing it here! And congratulations on the nomination .An entry with a bang!!

Regards,
Devika

Frankly Devika, it brings tears to my eyes also. Not just for this particular dog, but for the species in general. Dogs, and I may sound sentimental, love a human being without reciprocation. The world is often very cruel, yet if we keep our eyes open, we come across these miracles that make life worth lliving. In fact, I have found most animals lovable, perhaps in different ways. Have you ever thought about a crow? I once fell in love with a little crow and I will put up a post on that story one of these days. Thanks for your comments.
