this rakhi is a terrible thing. i knew a girl called rakhi and she used to have me tongue tied ! they (girls who want to be sisters) should all be forced to see 'when harry met sally' where he says that men and women cannot be friends !

Loved reading your post, was light hearted and breezy.
Took me back some years...We were two sisters at home and felt lost on Rakhi days. Then we tied rakhi to our punjabi friend/neighbour. Once he became the mooh bola bhai, things were cool. Had many pillion rides on his motorbike and tasted my first 'hot dog' in B'lore with the assurance from him that the dog is only a veggie pattie:)
