Default Those last moments

I always wondered what those last moments meant. few days I did see my mother literally acting in a pathetic manner.
She wrote a note telling us"Yaman had come yesterday, but he went quietly" dated 16June 2008. Within 4days she expired.

I saw my mother who was very frail had a lot of force even to push my hand - I just escaped a hand sprain. I could only smile with a tinge of sadness.

Sorry I can't write further. I thoought I would start posting something. Now iam only capable of attending my office. kanaka

Dear kanka mam,

Yes, we can understand your position for not writing further. But that is true that i heard so many elder people who are about to pass telling that they has seen yamaha in there dream and talking to them or asking them to come with him or some thing like that.

When my grand father was in bed he used to say these some times and mainly before two days to his expire he was literally talking about that some people are pulling him and asking him to come with them. And one person was showing his hand and asking him to hold. So, i hope they know early that some thing is going to happen to them.

Dear Kanaka,
My father was not well for nearly a week, he had been taken off salt and sugar also then as he looked diabetic due to the medicines he had been taking (he was low BP and low sugar patient for nearly 15 years). On the day he died, he had asked the duty nurse to get him fanta and rasam. As it was 3 am, the nurse told him that she would get him fanta once the canteen opens. Then, father had said that he is leaving ( naan poyinde irukken). She had thought it was just a comment. He breathed his last by 5 am.
People who have no fear of death, pass away gracefully like this. Your mother was really brave.

Dear varalakshmy,

Looks like they are able to see things which we will not understand.

Now I remember father asking why my mama hasn't brought "Pori" till now. I belive this shocked my mother. Who can explain death? NO ONE! kanaka

Kanaka,
I don't know what to write...it will definitely take time ma..time only will heal but only lessens the severity..take your time.. if you share here..your burden will be lessened..

some say those kind of Yama appearing or a black figure or anyother person who is close to them, but died come to them and ask them to accompany them, etc....

Dear Kanaka,

I can understand how you feel now as I had undergone the same after my father's death. My suggestion is cry out loud dear and talk to many about this as much as possible, once the gates are opened then you will feel much better.

May the Almighty give you the strenth to come out of this quickly. We are their for you dear. Just take our shoulders to keep your head and just cry it out.

Dear Lalitha,

Crying is the last thing I can do. Tears just don't come. I have tried my level best. But today iam much better than yesterday. Getting into my routine.

Expert opinion from people make you mad. The kind of rituals, the exploitation of our priests drives me mad. Though I have kept away from those situation my sister ha a become a prey. The running commentary of all those happenings makes me more depressed.

Makes me laugh at our community when the bill exceeds my poor mother's hospitalistion.- or the financial involvement if my poor mother was alive!

More than the demise of my mother it is those happenings revolving around her death suffocates me. May be as you age you give way to one of the faculties-either reasoning or emotional faculty.

Squandering money in memory of a departed soul is an injustice to hungry live souls devoid of necessary care. Respect I will the departed ones. But not at the cost of the living dead. kanaka
