Dear Mythili,

Beauty lies in remaining the way we are. The high society which you mentioned is lowly, and very shallow. Most of the time they themselves don't seem to know what they speak. It is only impressing few people to gain some material benefits."Udhara nimithham bahu krita vesham"(Excerpts from Shankara's Bhaja Govindam). Behind those facial mask lies a bleeding heart. Good post. kanaka

Dear Mithila,
Whatever work done, if with full effort and concentrsation is Thavam in its best form.I was one among the first few to read this piece and was awestruck by Saro's answer. I totally agree with her. Kudos to you for bringing this here.

Dear MK, this is a good write up touched with humor. I enjoyed every word of it. Not only it is a good one but with a very good message.

You see, I am in the same dilemma about meditation and yoga as you wrote in here and it is a lesson to me that it is a sort of meditation to go on doing your chores. I started doing my chores one after other waking up at 5AM continously till 10PM (this is an effect of my husband's changed job and timing and my extra curricular activities for me and my kid along with my job and what not).

And this article of yours came in time as an affirmation of my observations. It did not feel exhausted as I went on juggling through my day. It actually had a rhythm and I started to enjoy it. Yes, there is a change, I started to talk less etc with my husband in the mornings, but what a feat it is. It is like a silent coordinated ballet dance and gave me so much concentration and I begin to feel the serenity that I feel when I meditate sitting in a place for an hour. My breathing, my posture were clear, correct and regular.

I could not agree any more with with your atthai. I wish all our younger generation moms learn something from this and do their stuff and complain less and enjoy the beauty of it.

Another beautiful writing from you.

Love,

Dear Mithila

Read your post in one strtch, no interruptions since i was reading it in my work place during lunch time.I am amazed by the way you have narrated such a wonderful message in such a simple way. Your Athai is really great, for such a mature person she is. I felt truth in everything she said and if we try to be natural and focussed on what we do, then there can be no failures.

Its one of my best read Mithila. Thanks for such a wonderful writing. Sorry for my late feedback.

regards
Vidya

My dear venus,
Iam so happy that you liked the post and am happy that and what you read and believed in helped you meditate ,ie doing justice to the chores that you undertake to do.Iam thrilled.
In my case also,on the days I get up early, plan my day well in advance and do my work according to my plan, everything goes fine.I actually enjoy every little work that I undertake to do.Even during my morning walk I do not talk to anybody while walking. That is the time I organise my thoughts, that is the time the story that I want to write takes a clear shape in my mind.As you rightly said ,this planning and this concentration in whatever I undertake to do,gives me peace and total happiness which a meditation session can give.
Thank you for the lovely words of appreciation.
love

My dear vidya,
You may not know what joy you give me by writing such wonderful words of appreciation. When I feel low or out of sorts I only have to read such wonderful words of kindness from friends like you, then I begin to feel my normal happy self again.
I too wish to meet Saro athai, vidya, but she is a purely imaginary character.Just like that I added that character to drive home the message and everybody has started praising athai.
