| The tsunami of 2004 and the boat tragedy in kerala which cost life dear all because people / children did not know swimming or a way to stay afloat till help comes to rescue. Mr ramakrishnan a retired staff of RBI learnt the art of floating from a tamil scholar durai jayaraman of villupuram and teaches them to students /public A life saving mechanism for sure this is a scientific method that involves bending the head back till the ears are submerged while hands are held high(clasped) air gets locked both in the ear drum and stomach forcing the body being lifted due to upward water pressure.. wearing chappal would be an added advantage as it would balance the body while floating. Continous practice and he showcased it in nagapattinam seas and Chennai thiruvottiyur seaside. Presently he is engaged in training students, corporates, and service organizations. Even fishermen who swim the seas fall victim due to rough weather and ramakrishnan is teaching them too. he says anyone can learn this art and float on water day long. There is no question of getting tired unlike in swimming. His contact number 9840145016. This is reported in Indian express june 17th. sathya |
