| Hi mam Today woman play both the roles as a career woman and also as homemaker and that is the greatest achievement.. For example a working woman gets up in the morning, does her house chores, packs lunch for her children and husband, displays lunch for her MIL/FIL, gets dressed, drives car and goes to her workplace.. On auspicious days, she gets up much early, prepares neivedhya, does puja, does house chores, drapes silk saree, drives and goes to her workplace.. So I feel most of the women take up both the roles.. These days women who are at home also does freelancing jobs and as women entrepreneurs.. I feel that is the greatest achievement..and that is the "sakthi swarupam" in us which makes us play so energetically.. we have to be proud by ourself.. Thanx for the thread kudos Lakshmi |

| Dear Brindha, Tell me a secret. Where do you get your topics from? To me being a homemaker and a career woman is equally important. As you might be aware, I was a home maker after my marriage that too for 12 yrs. From past 2 yrs I have taken up my job. May be my priority is my family because I work for my kids only, to make them more comfortable. Where they can go to their hobby classes and I also get some more money for myself rather than ask my husband. Another important thing when you are working is you can help your parents. This was the main reason for me to get employed. However successful you are outside, if you cannot bring up your kids as responsible individual then the success is a failure ( No offences meant). So the lady is always juggling in her life, I would say as a lady she is always successful no matter what she is.

| Brinda, I always look at those woman who balance work and family...I always have high respect for them...that respect increases when they do it by themselves without any help from their own family... Home-makers are also respected when they do their duties which asks them to.. Woman, by herself is an achievement..where she does her duties well.(either in the office, at home or both).. is another achievement... sriniketan

| The best achievement of a woman is being an all rounder. She balances home & career easily. She works complex balance sheets & still have time for her kid's needs. She handles tough negotiations be it at work or at home. The list goes on Brindhaji....For me, being a woman is a great achievement. Only a woman can nurture life...Since the dawn of civilization she had been restricted in the name of culture, religion & what not. She still rises like a phoenix & surprises the world with her ability. Regards, Corallux
